Kamal Haasan's Challenge To Rajinikanth!!

The film industry is one place where cat fights, ego clashes are common even among nobodies. But here is one example that goes to prove how the industry has those few good men.
We are talking about the duo of Kamal Haasan and his arch-rival but very good friend Rajinikanth.

Sources say when Rajini was admitted in Chennai hospital, he was visited by a few but notable among them was Kamal Haasan.
Hospital folks reveal how Kamal cheered Rajini up and stated that it is due to Rajini’s growing efficiency that Kamal has to work hard to be better than him. Kamal reportedly told that he is positive about Rajini recovering quickly and getting back to shooting ‘Rana’.

However, he quipped that ‘Rana’ would be another big film and that will trigger Kamal to do something even better than Rajini. This kind of friendly competition and challenge motivated Rajini and it seems he is even more determined to recover soon and get back to work. Hats off to Kamal and Rajini!!

Rajinikanth - What a Simple Human Being.

Is this Super Star Rajni Kanth? Yes, no doubt but true. How can he live life so simple in these many instances? Even earlier many of his pics have come out those carry no glam or grandeur. This is the latest picture where he is coming out from a Church in Chennai after offering a prayer.

He even doesn’t look like a film actor and as per the matter of fact he is the man who is ruling millions of hearts with his trade mark dialogue punch and star power. He is the renowned actor not just in Indian Cinema but also has huge fan following in countries like Japan, Korea (the natives of those countries those have no roots in India) as well.

Some say he is simple because he gets value for that simplicity since he is super star. Many say that he is Super Star because he is simple at heart!

Rajinikanth out of ICU, moved into private ward

Actor Rajinikanth, who was being treated at the intensive care unit (ICU) of Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre (SRMC), was shifted back to his private ward on Sunday.

Doctors at the hospital said he responded well to treatment. "We moved him into the ward only after making sure he was completely fit. Hope we can discharge him soon," said a senior doctor.

The 61-year-old cine idol was admitted to the hospital on Saturday after he complained of breathlessness. He was diagnosed and treated for recurrent respiratory illness and gastro intestinal disorders at a private ward, a suite on the seventh floor of the hospital. On May 18, he was shifted to the intensive care unit, where he underwent dialysis. Doctors diagnosed that he had too much fluid in his blood. They put him through haemodialysis, and also removed fluid surrounding his chest that was pressing against the lungs and causing difficulty in breathing. He was given oxygen at regular intervals, pumped with antibiotics and transfused blood.

On May 19, senior cardiologist Dr S Thanikachalam, who was heading a team of specialists treating Rajini, said he responded well to treatment. Since then Rajinikanth was on normal diet. But doctors restricted visitors to the intensive care unit as anxious fans continued to crowd the hospital. The fans were constantly assured that the actor was responding well to treatment.

On May 21, a picture of Rajinikanth, dressed in blue hospital attire with his daughter Soundarya Rajinikanth in the ICU, did the rounds on all micro blogging websites. His son-in-law Dhanush kept fans updated on Rajinikanth's health condition. The first news about Rajini being shifted to the ward came from Dhanush on Sunday. A release from the hospital said he was cheerful and was spending time with all the family members, watching IPL matches. It also said his vital parameters were stable.

He was admitted to the St Isabel's hospital in Mylapore on April 29 and was discharged the same day. Doctors said he was dehydrated and exhausted. On May 4, he was back in the same hospital. Doctors treated him for allergic bronchitis and diarrhoea.

Rajinikanth undergoes dialysis, shifted to ICU

Actor Rajinikanth's condition worsened on Wednesday with doctors putting him through dialysis at a Chennai hospital, two days after he underwent a procedure to drain fluid accumulated in his lungs. The Tamil superstar was also shifted to the hospital's intensive care unit from the private ward where he was being treated since Saturday.

Doctors said they could not avoid or put off dialysis as the 61-year-old star's kidneys were not functioning normally. This was leading to increased fluid retention in his blood and a decrease in sodium and protein levels in the body.

The cine idol was admitted to hospital after he complained of breathlessness. He was diagnosed and treated for pneumonia and kidney problems. Doctors had removed fluid surrounding his chest that was pressing the lungs, causing breathing difficulty on Monday. He was given oxygen intermittently. Doctors gave him antibiotics and transfused blood.

"We decided to put him through haemodialysis. As of now, we don't know if he would require dialysis for life. We are hoping his kidneys will return to normalcy once his lower respiratory tract infection is cleared," said a doctor treating him.

Doctors have also restricted the entry of visitors. Anxious fans crowding the hospital to learn about Rajini's condition were constantly assured that he was responding well to treatment.

Rajini's fan clubs organized special prayers at temples across the country and provided free food to people.

The actor's family refused to comment.
