Hearing Mixed reviews for 1-Movie.
Yep it is one kind of movie which is technically brilliant & intelligent and for these Genre movies there is no surprise in receiving this mixed Review all-over.
For those, who have not watched this movie, Go and Watch it for sure.. Don’t expect a movie with mass elements and don’t keep any kind of expectations, this is not a movie that should be missed.

I really felt there can be improvements in the movie, which did not satisfy me completely as THRILLER .
May be because I have over expectations on SUKUMAR and his taking…..
If this is a movie, directed by Someone else other than Sukumar, I will not even dare to write anything about this movie and I say this is an awesome movie with no negatives ( as those, so called directors are not even capable of accepting this script). I see Sukumar's movie not just for entertainment, but also for his great talent in crafting each and every scene.
Here are my thoughts/views/postmortem report whatever you call it, where I felt the movie could have done better in different places.
Bcoz of this , I am not able to say I happily enjoyed the movie... Sukumar has more capabilities than what he has done for this movie.. If you are satisfied with this movie, may be, You do not know the capabilities of SUKKU... He can do much much better than this movie... He is Just Awesome..!! may be because of different other forces, he missed something...
The Surprise we feel when heroine revels what really happened in her news channel in beginning of the Movie: Awesome
The way she acts as two characters (interview girl and the girl who has fallen for Mahesh) in yacht and restaurant : Awesome
Here comes my first disappointment : Why did the director reveal it just after the restaurant scene [by showing the video taken by her friends], why didn’t he carry this suspense until interval scene.
We came to watch a thriller and all the scenes just after this scene after pretty expected (as we got to know about her drama and Mahesh is not dreaming always)
Director tried to keep the confusion ON by adding a scene in beach (where Mahesh thinks the villain is trying to shoot her , at night)- but I felt it as a filler..
Here are the scenes , which we lost the thrill because of revealing it ahead:
Ø Villains trying to kill heroine (after Mahesh accidentally fighting with her friends) - we all know its real and we expect a fight there.
Ø Yacht fire scene - Same
Ø Heroes discussion with villain - No suspense.. ( But appreciate the taking of this scene)
Here comes the next disappointment : The scene just before Mahesh's discussion with villain, before interval (Heroines discussion with News channel owner about Villain), this clears off the suspense again and we are pretty sure that villain is there in the office and Mahesh is not just thinking of him being there.
Hero asking old people if they can see a girl standing / if it is just his assumption. Immediately after that he asks a guy , if he can see the old people instead of asking if he can see the girl.. Here comes the Sukumar's flavor and I felt wow..!! This scene gave me feel of seeing the real Sukumar's movie.
Next,
Mahesh finding Phone number from a series of photos is Excellent, But a scene just before it asking heroine to zoom it to phone and Mahesh thinking for few seconds to find out a clue out of it gives us a chance to think what directors idea is.. And without any surprise the scene comes asking heroine to change the pics and find out the number.
INTERVAL scene : One of the best scenes and awesome acting by Mahesh…
One more interesting scene in second half, when there is a huge fight in parking lot and Mahesh gives a dash to police vehicle. DUDU says nothing happened in real and whatever Mahesh saying is just his assumption.. This Gives an awesome feel to audience, and Everyone thinks WHAT !!!! Is it not real..??? I loved the thrill… but again, revealing it immediately after it is disappointment…
SUKKU, you would have carried the suspense or confusion until the end somehow with different levels.
These are the scenes which made me think why sukku made it differently…
Then SONGS - ..
Length of the Movie - which gives a bore feel for few minutes (ADMIT IT)..
Also Selection of villains is bad...
I am writing this notes, just because this is a Movie with a combination of a person whom I respect - Mahesh
and My all-time favorite director Sukumar.
